A study of the why-question. Not to find answers, but to discover what our questions tell us about ourselves.
Some why-questions revolve around a problem to be solved. Others come from a desire to understand, an attempt to draw connections, or pure curiosity about the unknown. What someone asks, and how, reveals something about who they are.
This research explores those differences. How they expose personal curiosity, and how they shape us as individuals. Not to arrive at a definitive answer, but to make visible the personal perspective of each questioner.
The installation Intuïtieve Blokken grew from this research.
