Even on shore I keep searching, gathering, taking things along — just in a different form. Where I come from, we call that jutten — beachcombing.

This installation is an expression of exactly that: telling a story through something that seemed lost. CDs that were once played non-stop, full of memory and sound, have been discarded. Unnecessary. No longer wanted. But it is precisely in that silence that something remains.

By reframing these found stories and literally placing them in the light, space is created for something new. A different story. A rediscovered function.
